Slater Municipal Swimming Pool Information

The pool will open to the public on May 31 at 1:00 p.m.

The pool will change to school hours after Aug 17.  The schedule will be:

CLOSED M-F Aug 18 to 22

Open Saturday and Sunday Aug 23 and 24 - regular hours

CLOSED M-F Aug 25 to 29

Open Saturday through Monday Aug 30 to Sept 1 - regular hours

Daily Admission Fees:     All ages......................3.00

Admission after 5:00 PM: All ages.......................2.00

 20 Punch Tickets:             All ages....................50.00

  Season Passes:                Family....................120.00

•  A family is anyone you claim on your income tax.

•  Passes may be purchased at the pool starting  May 31st.  Before  May 31st, passes will be available at the Slater City Hall during regular office hours.

• Youth 9 years and younger must be supervised by someone 14 years of age or older

• The pool will not open if the air temperature is below 70 degrees, and it will close if the air temperature falls below 70 degrees. If the weather is cool, each swimmer must use his/her own discretion whether to pay admission and chance swimming for a short time. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.

•  If thunder or lightning occurs, the pool will be cleared immediately. We will wait it out for 30 minutes and if weather permits you may re-enter the pool. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.

•  Swimsuits are required. Swim diapers will be required for anyone who is not toilet trained, and will be available for purchase at the pool.  Regular baby diapers will not be allowed in the pool.

Special Times and Dates at the Pool

Regular pool hours: M-Sat  from 1:00 - 5:00 & 6:00 - 9:00, Sun 1:00 - 8:00

Adult Swim:  

• Early morning swim from 6a.m. to 7a.m. 

• Daily from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  

• 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. (18 year or older) - ALSO will be Family hour

Family Hour:  

•   5:00 to 6:00 p.m. (This time if for families to bring and supervise children) 

•  The Slide will not be open during this time.

Private Pool Rentals

Rent our pool for your exclusive use. A great idea for birthday parties, neighborhood parties, church groups, or civic organizations to enjoy healthful and wholesome fun. The pool may be rented any day of the week, after normal closing hours or any morning when Lessons are not in session. Rates
