 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF  SLATER, IOWA, WILL MEET AT CITY HALL , 105 GREENE ST.,  SLATER, IOWA AT 7:30  P.M. ON THE 23^rd DAY OF JANUARY, 2008, TO CONSIDER THE MATTERS ON THE AGENDA BELOW:

 1.      Call the meeting to order – Roll Call ( 7:30 P.M. )

 2.      New Business:  

• Discussion relating to the hiring of city personnel
• Hiring Committee recommendation of hiring for public works

(Session maybe closed pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(i) at the request of a potential employee)

 3.      Adjourn

 Pursuant to Chapter 21 of the Code of Iowa, this notice is given at the direction of the Mayor at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the meeting.  The official notice was posted at the City Hall accessible to the public.
