AGENDA REGULAR SESSION OF THE SLATER CITY COUNCIL

 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF  SLATER, IOWA, WILL MEET AT CITY HALL , 105 GREENE ST.,  SLATER, IOWA AT 7:30  P.M. ON THE 4TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2008, TO CONSIDER THE MATTERS ON THE AGENDA BELOW:

      1.      Call the meeting to order – Roll Call ( 7:30 P.M. )

      2.      Recognition of departing Mayor and Council Members

      3.      Citizen input forum is an opportunity for citizens to speak to the Council on matters not listed on the agenda NOTE no formal action can be taken on matters not listed on the agenda.

      4.      Consent agenda: these items are considered to be routine items and may be enacted by one motion.  There             will be no separate discussion on these items unless a Council Member or Citizen requests it.  In which              event, the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered separately ( 7:45 )

  • Approve and place on file the minutes of the regular meeting of  January 19, 21 and 23, 2008
  • Approval of expenditures 
  • Town Call Report from Story Co. Sheriff’s Office

  • Resolution No.  9 (2007/2008) ORDERING BIDS , APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND FORM OF CONTRACT AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS, FIXING AMOUNT OF BID SECURITY, AND ORDERING CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE AND FIXING A DATE FOR RECEIVING SAME, AND FOR SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS ON THE SLATER, IOWA, 2007 water supply discharge equalization system
